About the Design

I had the option to use a lot of vintage microphones in the orchestra, which was a lot of fun matching up the timbres of a flotilla of ribbon and older dynmaic microphones. Definitely not for everyone, but it was a lot of fun marrying some very new technology (Quantum 338T mixing console, Fourier Engine) with some very old (Coles 4038's anyone?)
